In 2014 a new museum magazine called Kvistur (meaning "a twig") was pulished. As well as getting to illustrate a few articles inside the magazine, I got to do the cover.

 

I and Ármann Agnarsson (the art director/designer) wanted to create something that would grab people's attention in the bookshop and create curiousity for this new magazine, something different from the normal photo from a museum. 

 

This first edition featured an article on a new curiator for one of Iceland's biggest art museum, that gave us a perfect subject for the cover; The curator. 

Inside the head of our curiator, you can see various national treasures here in Iceland, literature, paintings, product design, heritage items etc.
